About this website
This website presents the results of research on the Sun and explains solar physics in Japanese in order to raise awareness of this excited field of study. It is not funded by any institutes or organizations. It is produced personally by a so-called citizen scientist.
Images and figures
This website contains many images and figures. The copyright status of such material is classified into three groups:
- Credited works. If an image or figure is credited in the caption, that is, written as "提供" in Japanese, then the material is copyrighted by the described institute or produced with the data published by the institute.
- Cited works. If an image or figure is cited from other publications, then the material is copyrighted by its publisher. Whether the material is cited or not is written in the caption (but in Japanese).
- Original works. Otherwise, the material is independently produced and copyrighted by the author, Ryuji Mineta.
Usage of material
We do not grant the right to resell or redistribute any documents, images, figures or material from this website or to compile or create derivative works from material on this website.
However, you can use the figures without permission for educational non-commercial purposes only if it is an original work, that is, classified as the third case above.
